Copyright Registration
From $250 per registered work.
Once you create an original work, you already have a copyright on that work. However, to enforce your work, discourage, and stop infringement by others, you need to register your copyright with the Library of Congress. With a registered copyright, you may claim "statutory" damages of $150,000 per infringement and do not have to prove any specific damages. This puts sharp teeth into efforts to stop others from using your original works.
